B. Information Collected via Meta Graph API:

When you authorize Triggrly through Meta OAuth, we receive access tokens and permissions approved by you, which may include:

  • Instagram Account Data: Instagram Business/Creator Account ID, username, profile picture, and associated Facebook Page ID.
  • Media Data: List of your recent Reels and Posts (media ID, thumbnail, caption, permalink) so you can attach automations to specific posts.
  • Webhook Events: Real-time notifications when a user comments on your designated posts (comment ID, comment text, timestamp, and the commenter's Instagram Scoped ID).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

  • Executing Automations: Detecting when a user comments with your designated keyword on a post and dispatching the configured comment reply and Direct Message.
  • Follower Verification: Verifying if a commenter is following your Instagram account when the "Follow for Guide" setting is enabled.
  • Analytics & Quota Tracking: Tracking monthly DM usage counts against your account plan tier (Free vs. Plus) and preventing duplicate spam sends.
  • Account Maintenance & Support: Providing customer assistance, sending transactional notices (e.g. password resets, quota limit alerts), and improving system reliability.

4. Meta Platform Policies & Data Compliance

Triggrly operates in full compliance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies:

  • We access Instagram data solely through official, approved Meta Graph API endpoints.
  • We do not request or store Instagram account passwords.
  • We do not scrape, harvest, or reverse-engineer Instagram data.
  • We do not share or sell user data with advertisers, data brokers, or unauthorized third parties.
  • We honor user privacy settings and Meta's rate limits and messaging windows.
